The project is solved by several institutes of Czech Technical University in Prague (Departments of FNSPE, CRRC). Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics (IEAP) is involved in development and optimization of radiation detectors for various application fields. Different adaptations of semiconductor pixel detectors of Medipix family play important role. Research in IEAP follows these directions:

• X-ray transmission radiography and tomography with very high spatial resolution and high contrast. X-ray phase sensitive imaging.
• Neutron transmission and emission radiography.
• Development of 3D structures in semiconductor detector to improve detection properties.
• Multimodal imaging of biological objects.
• Coincidence neutron activation analysis.
• Utilization of effects of channeling and blocking for studies of material properties.
• Dosimetry with pixel detectors.
