Highly Miniaturized and Sensitive Thermal Neutron Sensor
The aim of the project is to develop a compact lightweight solid state, efficiency enhanced position sensitive detector of thermal neutrons with the ability to resolve thermal neutron signals from X-ray and charged particle signals. The device is based on Medipix2 pixel detector technology combined with corresponding R/O HW and SW solutions developed at the IEAP CTU Prague.
